How to Play the 5th Note in a C Major Flute Scale

The 5th note of the major scale C major scale is G. Here it is in the staff. Looking at the flute fingering we have 1,2, and 3 in the left hand along with the thumb. In the right hand we only have the pinkie key. A little tip to notice for people learning the flute who are new to the flute and something that between all the notes that we have played each note is session is released in one of these. If you can tell these had all of them. E had 2, F had 1, and G has none in the left hand. Let's hear G. Let's review the G fingering on the flute we have 1,2,3, and thumb in the left hand and notice as we have moved up there are no fingers in the right hand except for the pinkie key. Let's hear how the scale sounds from the beginning going up to G. We have whole step, whole step, half step, and then from F to G the new note is another whole step.
