Today I will be talking about how to play a C major scale on the flute. I will be discussing what a C major scale is. A group of 7 pitches from the 12 double pitches in even temperament in western music that are put together with whole and half steps. I will be discussing what each note is in the C major scale and how to finger and play them on the flute. I will also talk about what chords are made up of the C major scale. We have the major 1 chord, the minor 2 chord, the major chord and also the major 5 chord. I will be playing examples in C major. Discussing how to recognize C major in a piece of music and going over everything you need to know about the C major scale. By the end of this you should be sounding and hearing things in C major just like this.
