How to Play the 2nd Note in a B Major Flute Scale

The 2nd note in the B major scale is C sharp. Let's look at C sharp in the staff here is the 2nd note. In the key signature it is sharped, here it is again C sharp. To play a C sharp on the flute you simply play just the pinkie key of the right hand. Let's look how to play C sharp on the flute, pinkie key of the right hand. For flute players this is a tricky note because it is very open so it is important when you play C sharp that you bring the tone down and make is sounds a little bit lower. This is able to be done by putting more air into the flute so that the pitch stays low. Looking at the scale from the beginning we have B our 1st note. Moving up a whole step to C sharp. Here is how it sounds. It is important to play C sharp wit that lower pitch here is a example of what I was talking about for a flute player to have. If you play with a light sound it is very sharp making the whole step sound a little higher then it should be. If you put more air and make it directed it brings the pitch down so it is fits into the interval of a whole step on the flute. C sharp the second note.
