We have learned 2 chords that come out of the A major scale. The 1 chord which is a major chord starting on A and the 2 chord which is a minor chord starting on the 2nd note of the scale of B. We are now going to look at our major chords. If you remember that has a major 3rd and then a minor 3rd that comes out of the A major scale. Let's take a look the 4th note of the major scale, D is another major chord. It has D, F sharp and A. D, F sharp and A. This is the D major chord starting on the 4th note from A. Here is the arpeggio. That is D major on the piano. Another major chord that comes out of the A major scale is E starts on the 5th note of A major scale which is E. This is E, G sharp and B. This is also a major chord because of a major 3rd four half steps on the bottom and then a minor 3rd 3 half steps on the top. I will now play the arpeggio. These are the other 2 major chords that comes out of A major.
