"The 5th note of the B flat major scale is F. Let's look at F on the staff. To play F on the flute we use the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and thumb in the left hand. We use the 1st finger and the pinkie in the right hand. This is how F sounds. To go over our scale from the beginning we have B flat to C which is a whole step. C to D which is another whole step. D to E flat which is another half step. E flat to F which is the last note which is a whole step. Notice from E flat to F may cause some difficulty in flute so it is important to practice playing these 2 notes together to make the scale more fluent. Let's listen to the scale. F was the last note."
