Non-Traditional Items for Scrapbook: Paper
Hi! This is Stephanie. I'm here to talk about using non-traditional papers in your scrap book. Non-traditional papers can be something like the gift wrap that your birthday presents came in. It would look cute on a page. You can use tissue paper. Cork board is neat. You just cut it out and you can stamp on top of it, right on top of it, put stickers on top of it. Notebook paper. You can tear it. You can use it for journaling. It's great. This page, if you can see here, all the little writing that says kiss me and all those type of things was a goody gift bag from a Valentine's day party that some goodies were in. I just saved it and put it. It looks great on the page. Also, these little stickers here were from the gift wrap aisle. They weren't with the scrap booking. I just thought they were really cute and looked great for a Valentine's day page. I had the Valentine's day good bag and used it. Another non-traditional kind of paper that's good to use is our transparencies that you use in the office. You can use stays on ink or a marker and write on them. This page I used a big transparency that had all kinds of different fonts writing about graduation. I made my basic pages underneath and added this transparency and it just bought the whole page together. You can even use transparencies if you print them with your computer, turn them upside down and use them as a rub on. Transparencies are neat. Just look for any kind of paper that you can use and I'm sure you'll find a way to put them on your scrap book pages.
