How to Use Silk Flowers in Scrapbooking
Hi this is Stephanie. I'm here to talk about adding silk flowers for your layout. Scrap booking has really grown a huge love for flowers these. These can be a kind that you can buy they are really cute; they are super expensive. They come in this little packages and they are not really necessary. You can just go to your craft store and buy these by the stem. They are a lot less expensive, they come in every different color and size and they are really easy to use. All you have to do is you get them off the stem and you just pull them off. They come off really easy like that. You pull the flower off. Sometimes it would have a little piece of plastic in the middle and you just take it off and then you got the same exact thing, just a lot cheaper. In the middle where you got the little hole, you can put various things in there to enhance it. You can put a button, you can put a brad, a eyelid, you can rub a little bit of you know ink in the middle. You can do whatever you want to these. Like I said, they come in all different sizes and here in this layout, I used a huge one that came there was like five of these in each stem. If you bought these in a scrap book store, they are like four dollars and I paid about fifty cents for ten of them and it just adds a really fun look to your page. They are very nice and thin. I put some paper on mine and it is just a really nice thing to use.
