Non-Traditional Items for Scrapbooking
Hi this is Stephanie and I'm going to be talking about adding non-traditional embellishments to your scrap booking. Non-traditional embellishments are things that you can find at other place other then your scrap booking or craft store. You can find things at your hardware store like you know metal tape or drywall tape. I find things at the beading aisle at the store, I use things like silk flowers. You can go to your office supply store and find all kind of neat little items there like paper clips, stamps things like that. There is also different things like meshes that you can use. I go to a place where you can add little things and studs to your jeans. You can use those in your scrapbook. There are sewing items, fabrics and burlap is a really fun things to use. I also like to go and just cruise the store find things that I might like; children's art supply might work. Different school things like notebook paper is a really neat thing that a lot of people don't think about using. Different photo supply like slide mounts, little glass mounts, there is non-traditional papers that you can use such as gift wrap or things that you may not even think of like cardboards something that you can use. You can find everything that you can look for. You can just go through your drawers. You may have a junk drawer at home that has things that you can use. I will tell you ideas that you can find and where you can find them, how to use different types of things, I will get out the office supplies, I will get out the school supplies and we would use all of these non-traditional items and all kinds of different and creative ways in our scrap books.
