How to Play the Blues Guitar Shuffle Pattern with Hammer-Ons

Hi! My name is John Armstrong from ExpertVillage.com. Today I will be discussing with you the ins and outs of electric blues Guitar. Now the next type of rhythm that is typically used, the next type of pattern that we can use to substitute for the major or the minor triads is what is called a shuffle pattern. The shuffle was the fifth, it is a pattern of fifth, so for example here I have A and E, then I go up to the sixth, so it is a root in the fifth, and then root in the sixth, for example here with this A, I will play of 12 bars in the key of A, so I will be doing an A shuffle, a D shuffle and then an E shuffle, organizing that in the confines of 12 bars, two, three, four.
