Measures 17 & 18: Bossa Nova Guitar in F Major

Now we're on our last couple of measures and we have our three minor, to our five-seven, and then our two minor, to our five. And again you might notice that we have these flat nines in here, you might see some sharp elevens, flat thirteens, again that's not as important right now as we're just starting to get our skills together. Just play the seventh chord, and don't really worry about that, and if you're playing with some good horn players or lead players they'll accent those notes themselves. And it's not as important now, you'll still get the tune across, but right now we're just going to play. We have the three, six, two, five, which is a basic jazz turnaround. And when you look at the fretboard, we got three, six, two, five, or you could do three, six, two, five. This one's going to be a little more awkward because you have to get these voicings on the top string for your seventh chord. So we got (playing), so it's a lot easier if you just go to the low string. See how much easier that is. But if you want to be able to get these chords down and be able to move this fast, it's a good skill to practice. So again we're just going three, six, two, five, which leads us right back to our one, at the top of our tune.
