Using Standard Camera Shots with a Camcorder

Hello! I’m Ross on behalf of expertvillage.com. Let’s talk about consumer camcorders. What are some standard shots you can do with a camera? This is a wide shot that’s because I’m picking up more than just the subject. The subject is the eternal puppy in front of you. Now this is a close up, this is a really tight shot so this would be a super close up. This is what you would call in a person a head and shoulder shot. This gets us back to the wide shot or what might be called a long shot where you pick up more of the surrounding activity also, here I’m doing a close up but I’m shooting it from above and of course we’re back to the wide shot which is a good capture of the action shot it’s safe, as matter of fact when you’re shooting go ahead and capture some wide shots, even if you want a lot of close ups they make good shots of transition into another close up.
