Interview No-No's & Business Etiquette
I am Elena Brouwer, International Etiquette Center in Hollywood, Florida. You can find us on the web at etiquettecenter.com. Let’s continue with our office etiquette. We have a situation of an interview that is almost over. Let us see what happens at this point, let’s observe. A: Do you have any questions? B: Well, the most basic things that I need to know now is how much money am I going to make and how many vacation days I am going to get. Well during an interview you don’t ask how much money you are going to make, you must have that idea already. That’s not a good question and asking for vacation days, you don’t even know that you have the job; you need to wait for those things. The right thing to ask is something related to the job or to the company that you will probably be working for, that would come across as having good manners. So remember have some questions ready but not the kind of questions that are just about you.
