Hi! My name is Sarah. I work at Extra Care Animal Hospital; I am one of the technicians there. I am here at Petland in Pembroke Pines today to tell you a little bit about hamster care on behalf of Expert Village.com. Another kind of problem seen in hamsters is hair loss, having a variety of different causes. If your hamster is experiencing hair loss, you should take your hamster to a qualified exotic mammal veterinarian as soon as possible. Another common problem seen in older hamsters is cancer. If you notice any unusual lumps or bumps on your hamster, you should take him or her to a qualified exotic mammal veterinarian as soon as possible.
