Hi, I'm Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we'll be finishing our project. Once our stain has dried over night, we are ready to put our finish on our project. Now before I put the finish on, I need to take a tack cloth and rub that all over my project. Now this is going to pick up any small debris or dust that might have settled on my project. For my finish I have chosen to use a Polyurethane. Now this is a clear semi gloss Polyurethane so it is going to be a little bit shiny. For my first coat, I'm going to be taking a brush and painting on that Polyurethane. Now I'm going to have a fairly thick coat. This should take about 24 hours to dry. Once it's dried, we are going to take some worn out sand paper and we are going to lightly sand our entire project. Then we are going to come back with that tack cloth and put another coat of Polyurethane on. You just continue the same procedure until you have your desired finish.
