Hi, I'm Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, we'll be laying out for our electrical box. Now if we take a look back at our drawing, we need an area on one of the legs where all the wires are going to come in. Now since this is going to be seen, it's going to be on the outside so it's showing, we need to make this look extra nice. To do this we have this symmetrical box insert here and then we have a nice finished black cover plate that's going to go over it. So when our wires go through there it will have a nice looking appearance to it. Now I went ahead and setup my 2 back legs the cutouts that we just made are facing each other so we can run those cords through. The cords are going to come in on the bottom right hand corner so on this leg down at the bottom we are going to have to place that electrical box. Now in the room that it's going in I measured the outlet box it needs to be up 12", and I went ahead and made the mark. Next thing I did was measure the size of the electrical box and did a little math to figure out some of my other points, I'm just going to line those up.
