Pie Crust Ingredients for Pumpkin Pie Recipe

This is Mary Murphy and you are watching Expert Village. Let's look at the ingredients we need to make our flaky tender crust. We need a cup and a quarter, one and a quarter cups of flour. So you take it and you smooth, there is one cup of flour. And you need a quarter cup of flour. This is for a single pie crust because pumpkin or pecan only has a lower crust. So you have a cup and a quarter of flour. You will use eight, no we'll use six tablespoons of butter and two tablespoons of lard when we make the crust. And we put in some ice water.
