How to Repair a Ceiling Fan
If your ceiling fan is wobbling, it’s not only a nuisance but it is potentially dangerous because in time it will loosen the screws that mount the ceiling fan to the ceiling. And you don’t want that coming down on you. so what you can do is buy a blade balancing kit at any home center, which contains several of these weights which you stick to the top of the fan blade, and also this clip, which simulates the weight of one of these weights.

And what you do is clip the clip to the end of the fan blade and pick one and pick one and turn it on and then notice if that this improves the balance or not. If it does not, then turn the fan off and move the clip to the next blade. And so forth, turning it on and checking the balance to see if it’s improved any. And once you find out the blade or the blades that need some extra weight added, then take the weights that come with the kit, peel the back off and then stick them to the top of the fan blade. And that will fix your problem.
