Using Eyeliner Colors for a Dramatic & Glamorous Look

Hi! I am Yvette Parrish. Thanks for joining me at Expert Village. Today I am going to show you how to apply the eyeliner, the different styles of eyeliner and how to get that pretty smoky look. All right, once you have the base with the eyeliner, I am going to take a different brush; and I am going to use a dark, dark, dark blue, because blue is a cool color. Not just cool like “cool, neato,” I mean cool as in summer, fall, winter, this is a cool color. I am going to take a little bit of the blue, and I am going to go over that black with that, like I guess it is kind of a navy blue; and that will soften the black liner that still give her drama. So here she is a drama girl, and I am going to take a little bit up here. Alright for just a little bit of fun, I am going to take some white and I am going to put it in the corner of her eyes, and it gives a very magical pretty, pretty glamorous look. And if you notice I use my hands a lot, I use my fingers a lot, part of being an artist is not being afraid to get your hands dirty.
