How to Make Homemade Gift Wrapping Paper

Hi! This is Diana from Expert Village.com and I would like to show you one way to make your own wrapping paper. Here I have a sheet of just blank white paper, I have a paper plate, I have some red acrylic paint and I have some pink acrylic paint and of course, you can choose whatever colors you want for your design. I also have a stamp that I made out of a plain household sponge. So, you would just take a sponge that you have in your house and with the marker or a pen, you can draw your design. I have chosen a heart design. It is better to use a really simple shape. Then I am going to take my sponge stamp and I am going to dip it in the paint and I am going to rub it off a little bit because you do not want to paint too gloppy and I am going to just start stamping. Of course this looks like each one is a regular and that is the look I am going for and I have my red hearts here for Valentine’s Day. Now I am going to dip it in the pink, sponge off a little bit of it and keep going at all different angles and there is your paper. Just make sure you let it dry before you wrap your package.
