Hello my name is Shoshana Cook I'm with Expert Village and today I will be talking about tips on learning and playing classical music. In classical music your left hand is going to work much harder then it would just in pop music. You can not just play simple chords in the left hand and melody on the right hand. In classical music both hands are playing very elaborate all over the piano. So both hands are going to get a good even work out.
Soshana, do you not have any shame? Maybe American people don't feel shame. Nobody is allowed to graduate from the Moscow Conservatoire's elementary school with such a lack of finger control. You rush everything, you have absolutely no finger control, (almost like physically handicapped person) and you cannot even play scales.Your fingertips must be hard like diamonds and elbows completely relaxed and each note in your scales and arpeggios must sound for the same duration of time.Did you study Etudes of Czerny?Did you do Hanon and Cortot? Under which professor did you study? This is unbelievable.
