Line of Sight in Heroscape

Hi, I’m Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we’ll be discussing the tabletop RPG Heroscape. And now we’re going to go over line of sight, line of sight is very important because it has to be hard in order for a figure to attack another figure. Now, as noted on the card, in the little hit zone, line of sight area, it shows you the little green part where the line of sight is. Now see for instance, to get the line of sight, you will get behind the character and look where the line of sight is marked on the card to see if you have a clear line of sight, or more importantly a clear line of sight to the targets hittable areas. Now see for instance, we have this guy over here, and this guy up top, they both have line of sight to each of the characters, each of these characters hit points. Now if this character was over here on the other side, and had the line of sight and could see this figure but could only see his wing. Now the character card on this one says the wings a non-hittable area, the wing’s a non-hittable area so even though this character can see the wings, he can not see a hittable part which means that he can not attack that character. Which means to attack a character, you must have a clear line of sight to the hittable area of the other figure.
