Knowing Chords for Playing Piano by Ear

Hello my name is Shoshana Cook, I'm with Expert Village. Let's say for example you hear a song on the radio that you would be able to play yourself. If you have learned a song, like I said you would have some basic chords in your knowledge. So you can use those chords to help figure out what chords that song is using. However, you may run across a time where it does not quiet sound right. In this case it really helps to take my technique of learning a song and changing keys and do with a different song. Because that new song is going to have more chords and the more chords you learn the more you will hear. Hey that song I wanted to play, it has this new chord in it. Sometimes it might be as simple as just playing the same chord just with a different note on the bottom.
