How to Trim Beans for Green Bean Casserole

Hello my name is Hiu on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show how to cook green bean casserole. The first recipe I'm going to show is how to make green bean casserole from scratch. The first step we have to trim off the green beans we have to cut off the tail and the head. As you can see those parts are very tough and they are not eatable. Then for the longer green beans after we trim off the head and the tail we also cut them in the middle. As you can see if you don't want to cut it one by one you can just get a bunch of them just make sure they lie perfectly and then cut off the head and then the tail. For this recipe you don't necessarily have to use those fancy French cuts for your green beans because once the green bean is cooked in the casserole you can only tell the shape.
