Hi, This is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. We're going to talk about the last version of the D chord. We left off, we were playing a D chord with the G chord form barred on the seventh fret. We're going to move this up to the highest fret we're currently fretting which is the tenth fret to play an E chord form. This is the fifth and final version of a D major chord using the E chord form. The five versions of a D chord in review are the D form, and we barred this time the second fret because we lose a fret when we go from the D chord form to the C chord form. This is a D chord using the C chord form. We're going to go up and bar the fifth fret, the highest fret we're currently fretting. This is a D chord using the A chord form on the fifth fret. The highest fret we're currently fretting is the seventh. Barre that. Play the G chord form. This is the fourth version of a D chord using the G chord form barred on the seventh fret, and the last again. We're going to bar the tenth fret and play an E chord form. Those are the five versions of each of the five chords in the CAGED system. Join me in the next segment and we'll wrap everything up. See you there.
