Hey, this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory for Expert Village. We left off playing the first two versions of an E chord. We're going to explore the next two right now. Where we left off was playing an E chord with the D chord form on the second fret. Now, if you recall anytime we go from a D chord form at the end of the CAGED method to cycle back around to the C we lose a fret. So, instead of barring the highest fret we're currently fretting, we're going to lose a fret. Go ahead and barre that and play the C chord form. That's the third version of an E chord. Apply the CAGED method again. We're going to barre the seventh fret that we're currently fretting and use the next chord form of the sequence, which is an A. And this is the fourth version of an E major chord. In the next segment we're going to talk about the fifth and final version of an E major chord. We'll see you there.
