Hi, this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory for Expert Village. We just left off with the second version of G chord. If you remember we were using the E chord form on the third fret by barring the third fret. The next version is going to be barred on the fifth fret, which is the highest fret that we're currently fretting. Okay? And we're going to play the D chord form. Okay? Of course, we don't have to barre that fret if you remember. Any time we use a D chord form we only have to press down the fret on the D string. That's the G chord using a D chord form. Note, if you remember the exception to the rules. The third rule of the CAGED system. We're at the D chord form. We don't fret the highest fret we're currently fretting. We lose a fret, okay? So, from D form to C form we're going to barre the seventh fret and play a C chord form. Okay? That C chord form is playing a G chord. In the next segment we're going to talk about the last version of a G chord using the A chord form. We'll see you there.
