Removing the Tire to Change the Brake Pads
Hi! This is Jon from Expertvillage.com and we are going to continue with step 4 of our procedure for changing brake pads, which is removal of the tire. What I like to do at this point is spray a little penetrating oil on the lug nuts so that when we take them off there is less of a chance that we’ll damage the studs. I’ll be using a pneumatic air gun to remove the lug nuts, however, a tire iron works just as well. Then pull the tire off.
