JAMES MENY: Another exercise, we're going to go with the opposite side of the vowel spectrum, which is E. And we're going to go from Ee to Eh. So Ee to Eh and opening up that sound. On the same scale, we're going to go: Ne, Ne, Ne, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh. Let's try that. Ready? Go. MAN: Ne, Ne, Ne, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh. Ne, Ne, Ne, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh, Neh. JAMES MENY: Excellent. And again, we go from the most close sound, which is EE to, to a little bit more open sound, Eh. And we can keep going down the ladder of more open sounds as a derivative of the E vowel or the opposite would be U vowel. So what I mean by that is if you take Uh and open up your lips a little bit more, it turns into Oh and then it turns into Aw or an Ah and vowels of that sort. On the E spectrum, If we take Ee and you open it up, it turns to Eh and Ah, and then it starts changing into, like, A's and that spectrum of vowels. So either one you choose is fine. Whatever you're not doing real well at, that's the one you got to do the most of.
