what about masks that have thermal lenses, this would destroy the thermal seal and make them highly prone to fogging.

Paintball Mask Maintenance

Hi! I’m John. Now, let’s talk a little bit about mask maintenance. Sooner or later, you will get what is called a mug shot. You will have a paint ball that hits you right directly into the faceplate of the goggles. You don’t want to take a cloth or anything to you wipe this off, because what you’ll do is you put paint into the lens of the mask. What you need to do is to take a water bottle like this. You just spray this off. That is all you need to do to get it cleaned and looking like it should, where you can look out of it.
