Setting Up Permissions When Formatting Computer
I don’t know if you can hear that or not but what that tells me is now it's also recognized the sound card too. So now I have the sound card working and the video working at the same time. Those are principally the two most important things obviously you want to be able to see what you are doing and hear music or your movies. The bottom right hand side, it says Next, welcome to Microsoft Windows. Click on next, would you like Windows to help you protect your computer with the automatic updates, with the firewall it has. You can say no, not right now, or I always say yes, let it protect my computer. Then go to “next”, would you like to register with Microsoft? This is up to you, I always recommend you register with everybody that way you’ll learn about their updates or they can notify you with changes. This is an optional part; you can say yes or no. Would you like to set up internet access now? If you don’t have anything connected to this, if you don’t have a wireless connection or cable running to your network card then this is not going to happen. But if you already have a, let’s say a cable or DSL or Verizon connection, wait until this finishes and at the very end when Windows goes into its own window then you can plug it in and go for it. I’m going to say no, not at this time, It says, who will be using this computer? You can put your name, you can put your family’s name or whoever, whomever will be using this. In this case it will be my daughter Orri, and I’m going to say “next”. Windows says “thank you”, I say “thank you” and then we are almost done, click on “finish”. A familiar sound it you are using Windows, that’s the first start-up sound. This is our basic background, down here the actual sound card is working and there’s our sound card and the video card is working also. That’s it.
