Choose a Realtor When Buying a House
Hello, my name is Brett Staggs and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be telling you how much you can afford for a first time home buyer. When purchasing your first home and you're trying to decide what is the right home for me? What can I afford? Obviously one very important aspect of buying a home is if you're going to have a Realtor. Now you don't have to have a Realtor, you can do it on your own if you really want to. Drive around, search in the papers, internet, what's for sale, how much is going for? What's the neighborhood? But if you do decide to get a Realtor which can be very helpful expect to pay them in your closing cost. Realtors usually take three to six percent so the reason I say that is make sure you make them work for it. Cause they are going to get paid for the sales for the home so don't be afraid to call them with any questions that you may have. Ask them to take you to as many houses as you want, they are working for you don't feel like if you have to please them. A Realtor is working for you and if you don't know a good Realtor ask around, ask your friends, ask your parents, ask family, the guy at the corner store, lots of people know good realtor's. There are great Realtors out there so just ask around if you don't know if any cause it can be very helpful when getting your first home.
