Credit Repair Tips For Buying a House
Hello, my name is Brett Staggs, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to be telling you how much you can afford for a first time home buyer. When applying for your home loan, and you're trying to figure out how much house you can actually afford, it's important to keep in mind that whatever bank you're working with, they will pull your credit report, without a doubt, they have to. When they do pull your credit, if it turns out that your credit score isn't that great, they do have programs that they call credit repair. Credit repair comes in many different forms, but primarily what they'll do is recommend a credit repair company to you. You call them up, you talk with them, you tell them your situation, and they'll give you simple instructions on how to improve your credit. This may take some time, so if you're in a big rush to buy a home, and you find out your credit score isn't that great, you want to make the proper adjustments to your life as far as if you need to keep renting an apartment for the three months, or the six months it might take to improve your credit to a point where you can go back to your bank and say okay, I did these things, my credit has improved by X amount of points, and now I'm ready to start my application basically all over again with the knowledge that I now have the proper credit score to get a loan.
