Blowout Hairstyle Finishing Touches

I'm Amelia Smith and on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to talk to you about how to do the perfect blowout. When you're finally done with your finished look, hairspray is of course very important. And remember hairspray is like fragrance, it doesn't last all day, you'll want to carry a smaller can in your purse to have retouches throughout the day. And the main mistake women make is they spray their hair all over. What you really want to do, especially if you're looking for volume, is you want to spray underneath and that's going to give you that lift. Also, hairspray can be used as a finishing product. If you feel like pomades are a little out of your league and they are a little too difficult for you, a hairspray works great in its place. You just spray and then run your fingers through and you can get the same separation that you do with a pomade. Plus you get a little more hold and control. So just have fun with your hairspray. And I always like a nice working hairspray, I don't like anything really stiff. They can be found in the stores under medium hold or working spray. Those are the terms that you're looking for. And they tend be a buildable hold. Which means the more you spray the heavier it will get, the more holds you'll get. Just remember that your products are going to be your biggest ally as are your brushes and your blow dryer. And you're looking for ceramic tools, and that includes your brushes. You're looking for a ceramic plated flat iron. And you're looking for products that have thermal protection in them. And if you do this, your blowout and your hair will look beautiful.
