Reading & Playing G Flat (Gb) Intervals Sketched Vertical on Bass

RYAN LARSON: Now, we're going to take one more look at the bass written out in tab, and now we've taken the tab and we've put it in the intervals. So here's our open strings again. Remember we're avoiding all our open strings, and we have our frets: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. But now I went through and wrote the actual intervals. So you have your root here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 1. So there's your 1 and your 1, and then there's your 5 if you're doing--you do a lot of 1, a lot of 1 to 5, if you're going to be doing some Latin bass or even country style music...
