Reading & Playing G Major Bass Intervals on Written Scales

Now we are going to show the actual written out intervals on the scale. So we have our bass cliff right here and we have one sharp. That is how you know it's G major, one sharp, you have your bass cliff there and we start right here on the bottom line of the staff. Notice it's a five note, five line staff and you have each line in space is a different note on the scales. So we go one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, so we take that basic pattern and now we are reading it on the scale. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one (playing. So that is a great way to find the actual pitches when you are reading through a piece sets written in G. Just stay in that pattern you'll be able to walk through the whole scale like nothing and up above here you put the actual tabs. So we have third fret, zero, two, three, zero, two, four, third fret zero two three zero two four and then zero is at the top. So that is your written out scale and how to find it and how to look at it with a tab as well so you can go through and start reading through some of your favorite signs on the bass.
