Reading & Playing G Major Intervals Sketched Vertical on Bass

So now we're going to yet take another look at the scale and this time we are going to read just the intervals. So if we take a look over here we have our open strings again. But now we have the intervals pumped in there. So we have our first fret, second fret, third fret, fourth fret and we start here on the third fret with the one. We go one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one, so this is a good way to visually see the scale in all the scale degrees. So we have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one, so go through and mark that again and really get those scales degrees under your fingers. (playing) One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one and that is your G major scale yet again on the bass.
