Deep Tissue Massage

Hello my name is Jinilee Reavis and I'm a massage therapist here at Veronika's Color Salon and Spa and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Now I'm going to demonstrate a deep tissue and explain why it is so beneficial to the client. Now deep tissue massage allows the therapist to go in and a focus on a problem area. Say with the neck and shoulders is the main area that people have distress in there everyday life is just go and stretch out the muscle like so and I'm applying deep pressure so that way it would allow me to really get to the base of the muscle and get into the base of the tension area that is hurting the client right now.
