Hello! I am Annie Brunson on behalf of Expert Village. Today we’re going to learn about key signatures. Specifically, key signatures with flats. Starting from C, go up a perfect fourth to F. F has 1 flat. Again, using a scale, we can find out which flat that would be. Whole tone, whole tone, half tone or semitone, whole tone, whole tone, whole tone, semitone. Go up a perfect fourth from F and you find B flat. B flat has 2 flats, B flat and E flat. Go up a perfect fourth from B flat to E flat that has 3 flats. Go up a perfect fourth from E flat that is A flat. A flat has 4 flats. Go up a perfect fourth from A flat, you will find D flat.
