Making Tomato Mozzarella Skewers Party Appetizers

Alright next what we are going to be doing is some tomato bulkinchiny and basil skewers. Of course it is rather similar in terms of ingredients and color palette to the bruschetta so you might not want to do both on the same menu. Go by whatever is freshest at the market. If the Roma tomatoes are really ripe, make the bruschetta. If, however, the cherry tomatoes seem particularly nice like they are today then try making these and it is a really nice refreshing appetizer to have. Now what I am doing is some really nice fresh basil. I am supposed to slice them just about that thick. Now bulkinchiny is just a fresh mozzarella so we are just going to thread one of the gorgeous little plump tomatoes, grab a bulkinchiny, get most of the liquid off of it if you can, wrap it just like that in the basil. It is gorgeous and the whole kitchen smells good, thread another tomato on there and one more bulkinchiny and let it all get snug on the skewer like that. Isn't that nice colors and very festive? We place it on a decorative platter and just sprinkle with a little salt and you can either serve this with a pesto or you can do what they serve bread with in Italian restaurants just a little bit of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and just like that, it is pretty quick and it is quite pretty I think you will agree.
