How to Make Mini Quiche Party Appetizers

Hi I'm Marieve Herington here for Expert Village. And today we're doing easy, quick holiday entertaining. So, I don't know about you, but I think the whole holiday appetizers right out of the box nice and freezer burned, yeah that's really over done for the holiday season. And unfortunately opening up those freezer boxes just takes away from what is otherwise a very, very nice French dish, the quiche. So today we're going to make home made ones and they're not that hard, I promise. So what you can see here is this dough. Now no, I did not make it from scratch. What I did was that this will be your new best friend come the holiday season. Puff pastry. Buy a box of it. There is usually two sheets in a box and over night let it defrost in the fridge so the dough doesn't get to warm over night because it comes in the freezer section. And what I done was just rolled it out to flatten it out. And didn't even bother buying a cookie cutter, just used a wine glass here. And I'm cutting out circles. Because this is going to be the crust of the quiche. You can see how easy this is. I've got these mini muffin tins. Just because I think for a cocktail party these are probably the size you want to do. Because you want them to be more or less bite size. There you go. I'm going to finish putting these together. And now we are going to do the filling.
