Summary of College Football Coaching

How are you doing, you're watching Expert Village, my name is Scot Ruggles and I am here to take you through what it takes to be a football coach. Once I got done playing college football, I got right into coaching, I, uh, sort of grew up around the game, my father is a long time high school and college football coach. My first coaching job I started at Wagner College. From Wagner I went on to the University of New Hampshire. From the University of New Hampshire I went on to Marshall University. From Marshall University I went to the Colorado Crush in the Arena Football League. From there I went to the Central Connecticut State University. From there I went to the University of Missouri Rolla, and then most recently, to Harvard University in Boston. I've coached on both sides of the ball including special teams, I've been very fortunate to coach in championship game, semi-finals of the Arena Bowl, and you know, to win some championships along the way. I've also been very fortunate enough to be around some great people as far as staff and players. They have really made my time as a football coach very fun and enjoyable and I've learned some great things from the people I've learned under, all the head coaches from all the schools that I've named, I'd personally like to thank them all and I want to name each guy's name but they know who they are, but they have made me the person I am today and they've given me the opportunity to do something I love and that's coach football.
