Hi! I am Monica, and another range of motion exercise we are going to do for lower extremity for CRPS is hip rotation. We are going to do internal and external rotation. So one of the easiest way to do this is just simply lying on the ground - or if you're more comfortable in bed, that is fine too - on your stomach, and we will go ahead and pretend like the left leg is the leg that is affected and what I want you to do is just let your leg relax out and relax back in. So your knees are not moving at all, not bending or straightening. Movements simply come through the hips through rotating in and then out, nice and slow. If you're not able to go as far in and out as I can you can just keep the smaller range of motion right like that and if you can start tolerating more, you can start adding more movement back in.
