Hot Stone Massage for the Lower Back

Hello, this is Sherry Krieger for Expert Village.com. We are continuing on once again with our hot stone massage. We have just removed the stone from the back of our client here. Now it is time to apply the lotion. Usually when you apply the lotion to the back, you do the entire back at one time to make it much more smooth and soothing for your client. From here we are going to go down into the lower back. There are different techniques that you can do. One of them is just run your finger down the muscles of the back, the erector spinae, and come down to the lower back as such. Here we are doing crossovers. We are working the heat and the lotion into the lower back. Depending upon your client, you can go deeper. As I’ve said before, make sure and keep a conversation going with your client as to the quality and depth of massage.
