Analyzing Measures 9-12 on Sheet Music for Bass Guitar in G

RYAN LARSON: So, now we're at measures 9 through 12, and we have here a C minor so finally, we're back in the scale and that's our G, A, B, C. That's our iv minor chord, right? And then we got A minor, that's our ii minor, right? G, A. So, we just have a real simple iv minor to ii minor and then we find those on the bass again. Zoom out on the bass, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. There's our v minor and our ii minor is right here. So, now if we go through the whole thing again, we got I, flat 3, flat 5, ii-V to V, ii, I. So, we've gone through and find those different bass notes. So, you want to really go through and notate that and write all this stuff down at home, so you can go through it and play through this tune on your own.
