How to Install the Front Brake CalipersDOUG JENKINS: Hi. I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in Saint Louis at Doug Jenkins' Custom Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Disc Brake quiet spray on the back of the brake discs. This is--it's kind of sticky. It just helps keep the pistons and the brake pad in constant contact, and you don't want them rattling or squeaking, that kind of thing. There's a little insulator sleeve there that he pried back out of the way in order to help it clear. That insulator sleeve keeps the--it's another one--one more way to try to keep the brakes quiet.
