How to Read & Write Blues Piano Scales in D Major

Now we're going to show you the actual form and we're going to look at it as I play. We started with our D7, right? We play it for 4 measures. 2, 3, 4. Now we're at our 4 chord. We play that for 2 measures then back for our one, then one again. 5, 4, 1. Now I'm going to play again doing a little one. 4, 1, 5, 4, 1. That's your basic blues progression in D.
