How to Play Jazz Bass in D: Forms

RYAN LARSON: So now we've gone through and utilize all these different chords coming out of the blues. It's all just out of this 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-1. It seems really simple now but you're probably a little worried when you started off but it's nice and easy. So I'm going to go through and call out the actual numbers of chords as I play it. So we start it out on I, IV, I, V, I, IV, sharp iv, I, iii-vi, ii, V, iii-vi, ii-V, I, IV, I, I-V, IV, sharp iv, I, iii-vi, ii, V, iii-and-a-vi-and-a, ii-and-a-V-and-a, I. That's your D blues on the bass.
