Measures 9-10 in a Jazz Bass F Major Scale

RYAN LARSON: So now we've come to measures 9 and 10 and we're just walking a nice simple ii minor to a V7 for two bars, so ii to V7. It's a great example of some stereotypical walking and we're going to really take it to you nice and slow. So we start here F, right? We gotta go from D to C so ii to V. And there's so many different ways to get there; we can go [PLAYS BASS LINE] or we can go [PLAYS BASS LINE] or we can start on these two up here open string [PLAYS BASS LINE]. So we can go ii open, right went up the octave there right 2-2--2-2-1-7-5 as long as I go from the ii and land on the V, it's gold. So those are your next two measures, your ii and your V which are the two measures before the last two measures in our bebop blues.
