RYAN LARSON: So now, we're going to take a look at our 3rd and 4th measure of our bebop blues. So we walked the measure of F7 and a measure of B flat VII then we'll walk a measure of F7 again and then we have a v minor to a I7. So, we're going to go I, IV, I, V-I. So, I'm going to walk that very slow a couple of times so you can get a good idea of how to move around and I'm going to stay on the same scale again. So we've got I, IV, I, V-I or I can do it like this I, IV, I, V-I which is going to lead into the IV eventually. Bur we're going to do that yet again to get some idea of the sound. I, IV, I, V, IV, I and feel free to hit some notes twice, it doesn't sound bad and you can allow the cool bass lines to start like that like [PLAYS BASS LINE] and so on. So go through and you want to walk through and remember to go on I, IV, I, V-IV so some simple target notes out of that scale for you to hit on the downbeat of all those hip chords.
