Measure 2 in a Jazz Bass G Major Scale

RYAN LARSON: So now we walked our G for one measure. And our second chord here is a C7. So we went from our 1-7 to our 4-7. And we're just going to walk that for one whole measure. And then I'm going to show you walking from the G7 into the C7. So again, we have 1-2-3-4, right? So now here's our fourth note. And we want to just move around the major scale. Or we could do--or we could do. Okay. So now we're going to start from the 1 and then walk the 4 back to the 1. So 1-4-1-4-1, this is a great scale to get down, 4-1-4-1-4-1-4. So a nice, simple example of how to walk through two basic chords out of your G major scale. And we're just going from our 1 chord to our 4 chord, which are two first chords out of our bebop blues.
